Job Description

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues pertaining to Windows, Server, and Mac OS
• Administering user rights through security group management
• Allocating and managing server resources efficiently
• Maintaining system security integrity by identifying and patching vulnerabilities using BigFix
• Ensuring the operational health of backup software systems
• Safeguarding tape backups offsite for future restoration purposes
• Configuring, troubleshooting, and overseeing networking equipment such as routers, switches, call managers or PABX systems, firewalls, access points, and biometric devices
• Conducting investigation, diagnosis, resolution, and recovery procedures for hardware and software issues
• Assisting in organizing and inventorying hardware and software resources
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation
• Managing boardroom peripherals and provide technical support for senior staff during online meetings
• Collaborating with vendors and internal personnel to facilitate procurement processes
• Providing training sessions for internal IT staff and end-users on various technologies as needed

profile

• Post Graduate or Graduate in Computer Science or related discipline
• 3-4 years relevant experience
• Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems, showcasing a solid foundation of knowledge
• Track record of effectively administering Active Directory and DNS services
• Hands-on experience in managing MS Exchange
• Proficient in configuring and maintaining Windows Terminal Server environments.
• Skilled in patching Windows and Server operating systems, ensuring system security and stability.
• Familiarity with backup software, particularly adeptness with Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Familiarity or hands-on experience with Network Load Balancers, ensuring optimal network performance and reliability
• Exposure to VMware ESXi or other virtualization platforms is a plus
