The primary role of the Senior Manager will be to manage a diverse portfolio of fashion watch brands, ensuring effective brand positioning, performance, and growth across multiple channels and markets.
Job Description
- Brand Portfolio Management: Overseeing the assigned portfolio of brands, ensuring a deep understanding of the brands in their entirety and the retail business environment
- Brand Principal Relationships: Managing relationships with brand principals comprehensively, including product, marketing, training, new launches, and more
- Market Research & Strategy Development: Analyzing trends in both international and domestic markets, crafting strategies to stay ahead of competitors. Acting as the key point of contact for market intelligence in the watch industry
- Sales Forecasting & Budgeting: Forecasting sales accurately and developing brand budgets to ensure business goals are met
- Business Planning: Developing actionable business plans to achieve brand objectives and growth targets
- Sales Target & Purchase Monitoring: Monitoring sales targets and purchases across multiple markets and channels for the assigned brand portfolio
- Pricing Parity & Benchmarking: Ensuring pricing parity across all brand channels, continuously benchmarking against home markets to maintain competitiveness
- Brand/Product Lifecycle Management: Managing the entire lifecycle of the brand/products, from product selection to sales and customer delivery
- Order & Inventory Management: Overseeing the buying cycle and order placement, while effectively managing the Open-To-Buy (OTB) process. Ensuring proper inventory management, with attention to product availability, slow-moving items, and liquidation strategies
- Store Planograms & Brand Placement: Developing and reviewing store planograms and brand placements, ensuring they align with brand standards and are evaluated regularly
- Best Practices Implementation: Collaborating closely with brand principals to gain a deep understanding of global best practices and effectively adapt and implement them within the regional market
- E-commerce Strategy: Leading the growth and development of the e-commerce business for the assigned brand portfolio, encompassing both Rivoli Group’s owned e-commerce platform and third-party marketplaces
- Brand boutiques: Identifying opportunities for enhancing client servicing and ensure the effective operation and management of brand boutiques to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Travel retail business: Collaborating closely with the travel retail team to ensure the brand’s performance is maximized and business opportunities are fully optimized in the travel retail channel
- Marketing Initiatives: Driving marketing initiatives for the assigned brands, collaborating closely with the in-house marketing team and the brand principals
- Retail Store Visits: Conducting regular visits to retail stores to ensure proper brand visibility and adherence to merchandising guidelines
profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Brand, Marketing Management, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in Brand Management, Buying & Planning within the retail industry, preferably in watches or jewelry
- Proven experience managing large brand portfolios and overseeing operational processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written)
- Results-driven with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to achieving goals
- Dynamic, agile, and trend-savvy, with a deep understanding of current market trends and consumer preferences
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders
- Proficient in MS Office, digital platforms, social media, online marketing, and related technologies
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and the ability to leverage insights for strategic decision-making
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, understand consumer behavior, and develop actionable insights
