ABOUT THE BRAND

The roots of Glashütte Original reach back to 1845, the year in which the first master watchmakers settled in Glashütte. They realized their dream of an independent Saxon watchmaking industry. As a direct descendent of their art, today Glashütte Original carries their vision forth into the 21st century.

Glashütte Original embodies innovative German watchmaking art that meets the highest standards of quality. In our manufactory the watchmakers' traditional craft skills encounter state-of-the-art production technologies. Passion, the delicate touch of a practised hand and impressive in-house production depth come together to create exclusive timepieces of extreme precision and timeless elegance.

The brilliant horological achievements of the manufactory reveal themselves in the characteristic design elements of a Glashutte Original watch, visible through the sapphire crystal case back. The fine decoration of the component movements, lavishly finished by hand, is a natural obligation to our high-quality standards – in the tradition of the old masters.

Intriguing power reserve display - PANORESERVE

A discreet display on the right side of the dial indicates how much energy remains available in the spring barrel. If the small blued hand points to the “AUF” mark, the watch is fully wound. The closer this hand moves toward the “AB” mark, the less power remains available. When fully wound, the PanoReserve has a power reserve of 42 hours.

HARMONY IN RED GOLD

This exquisite timepiece in red gold has a diameter measuring 40 mm. The perfectly polished and satin-brushed surfaces of its case are harmoniously attuned to one another and offer fascinating reflections in changing light. The Louisiana alligator leather strap takes up the hue of the dial and rounds off the elegant overall appearance of this model.

ASYMMETRIC DESIGN

With this model, the asymmetric layout of the displays takes pride of place. Inspired by the Golden Ratio – the law of aesthetic harmony – the individual displays were positioned off-centre on the dial. The hour/minute and small second zones lie on a vertical axis within the left half of the dial, while the Panorama Date and the minimalistic power reserve display are positioned within the right half.

Features:
• Movement Type: Manual winding movement
• Case Material: Stainless Steel/Red Gold
• Case Dimension: 40 mm
• Strap Type: Black Louisiana alligator leather strap

Elaborate finishing

The PanoReserve is powered by the manufactory movement Calibre 65-01 – a finely finished manual winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The sapphire crystal case back offers clear views of the movement and its characteristic features, such as the three-quarter plate with Glashütte stripe finish, polished steel parts, blued screws and the hand-engraved balance bridge with duplex swan-neck fine adjustment.
